The month of July had the Post Guard participating in the annual Ferry Farm Flag Retirement ceremony on 4 July. The Guard also provided funeral support for long time Post member Ed Cole who passed away on 12 July.
Upcoming for the Post Guard is the Salvation Army's Music by Moonlight concert at Hurkamp Park in downtown Fredericksburg. The Guard will present Colors for the opening of this concert.
